What we believe
We firmly believe that contemporary film education should support students in carving their own path to success.
Our core goals are to train the next generation of filmmakers and creators to be the best at what they do and to deliver courses at the cutting edge of industry trends. How do we do that? We constantly consult and engage with industry experts to discover what skills and experience filmmaking graduates need to stand out from the crowd.
Why We Believe in Film
A career in the film and television industry isn’t a pipe dream.
Before the Covid19 lockdown, the UK was on track to reach a new record for inward investment in the film industry, with a jaw dropping £651M in the first quarter of 2020 alone, channeled in to big cinema and TV projects such as Warner Bros The Batman, Disney’s the Little Mermaid, and Universals Jurassic World: Dominion.
After months of closure, the industry roared back to life in the October of 2020, generating a staggering £1.19 billion spend before the end of the year, the third largest spend in a 3 month period on record. As the world now begins to return to normal this figure is only set to grow and expand.
