Dave Logan is a highly versatile and experienced writer with a distinctive voice that works across genres.

On the TV side, he is currently creator/showrunner of brand-new crime drama HARRY WILD for Acorn/Dynamic TV, starring Jane Seymour and set for production in 2021. He is also developing an original series set in the world of motorsport for Jed Mercurio and Hat Trick/Pilgrim. David’s spec pilot for long-running heist series JIGSAW is in development at Marada Pictures, with Brendan Fraser and John Hannah attached to star.

As a feature film writer, Dave co-wrote TO OLIVIA with director John Hay for Goldcrest and Atticus Pictures, released Christmas 2020. The film tells the story of Roald Dahl and Patricia Neal coping with the death of their daughter, and stars Hugh Bonneville and Kealy Hawes in the main roles. Dave’s family TV film LOST CHRISTMAS, directed by John Hay and starring Eddie Izzard and Jason Flemyng, was broadcast on BBC1 during Christmas 2011 to rave reviews. A beautiful fable in the vein of ITS A WONDERFUL LIFE, the film was nominated for an International Emmy and a Children’s BAFTA.

Dave also wrote the novel for LOST CHRISTMAS, which was published by Quercus and sold an impressive 15,000 copies in hardback in its first three months. More recently, he wrote a series of young adult fantasy novels, also for QUERCUS, starting with THE LEAGUE OF SHARKS.
