Mark Tew

Filmmaking

During his filmmaking career, Mark has worked in various capacities on small independent productions to commercial shoots including American Express, MTV, BBC and more recently with charitable and educational organisations. Between his freelance projects, Mark teaches Film and TV, regularly screens work throughout the U.K and has recently been asked to lead a pilot project nurturing young and emerging filmmaking talent.

In 2015, Mark co-founded Button Pressed Films, committed to producing entertaining projects in both film and theatre with a focus on strong writing and visual storytelling. Their first project, the short film ‘Not My Wife’, won ‘Best Comedy’ at the Limelight Film Awards in London. Their latest production, ‘Deep in the Woods’, features Jenny Funnell (BBC’s As Time Goes By) and is now entering the festival circuit. Mark is currently in production of his first independent feature, an ambitious comedy called ‘Disco’, shooting in Sussex.
