Paul is an artist and educator with many years of experience teaching theory and practice at degree and masters level. His own core practice centers on photography, though it spins out from there to include many other media forms, including film, video, sound, drawing and writing. Much of this work is undertaken in a collaborative and participatory context.
As an educator he has a long history of developing innovative, critical and creative curricula, and is particularly interested in the relationship between creativity and education. As an active pedagogic researcher this interest has seen him publish widely on creative arts education.
