Ruben Woodin Dechamps is a Cinematographer who works in Documentary, Drama, and Music Videos.

Ruben’s work includes the feature documentary The Reason I Jump with director Jerry Rothwell, winner of 2020 BIFAs best doc and Sundance audience award, recently screened as part of the BFI London Film Festival, in addition to My One Demand directed by Matt Adams.

For TV drama he shot That Girl as part of the On The Edge miniseries for Channel 4 alongside director Dionne Edwards, with whom he worked on the award-winning short film We Love Moses.

His other credits include 2nd Unit work on drama Hurricane by David Blair, and The Jon Jencks-directed feature The Hippopotamus, starring Roger Allum. He also worked with director Oscar Hudson on the short documentary A Second World, as well as Lord & Lidl and Joy In People. He started out on numerous music videos and is self-taught.
