Jordan Kai Wright

Camera Operator

Jordan graduated in 2019 and is currently working as a freelance Camera Operator.

His work ranges from branded content to music videos and narrative short films. He also works with fellow Screen and Film School graduates within their own independent production company.

What were the most valuable skills you gained at Screen and Film School?

“For me, the most valuable experience from film school was the practical learning. There is no substitute for experiencing a problem during any stage of production and having to come up with solutions, Then, learning from the mistakes you make. The Film School also taught me valuable skills such as working as part of a team and building connections.

What advice would you offer current students at Screen and Film School?

“Always put in the extra time and passion into your projects. Make sure to take as many opportunities available to you as you can: Film School offered various workshops and masterclasses that were often very applicable to the projects I was working on at the time.”
