She is now working full-time as a Production Runner within the casting team of BBC’s ‘The Repair Shop‘.

What were the most valuable skills you gained at Screen and Film School?

“My time at Screen and Film School boosted my confidence as a filmmaker. I had a tonne of fun working on film projects with my classmates and I learned a lot about the creative process. Film school also helped to connect with many brilliant industry professionals.”

What advice would you offer current students at Screen and Film School?

“Say yes to as many opportunities as possible. You never know where it might take you and who you’ll meet.

There are many ways to get into the industry. You do you. Don’t compare yourself with others.

And lastly, don’t be afraid to ask for a 30-minute phone call with that producer you had a nice chat with at a networking event. So long as you’re polite and you’ve done your research beforehand, what’s the harm in asking?”
