Creative Technology Lecturer

Matteo Contu is a technical game designer with 12 years of experience in game development. They started with mobile gaming and then specialised in VR development.

Matteo has worn multiple hats in their career: from app and web development, to programming mentoring, electrical engineering, multiplayer programming, narrative design, and board game design. Each career path has given them a different point of view in addressing game design and programming challenges.

At Deep Sky Games, their role is to take care of prototyping, programming designer-friendly gameplay systems, producing engine tools, and bridge the gap between programmers and designers inside the company.
