Michael Mitchell

Michael Mitchell is Head of School at our Birmingham campus, and boasts over a decade of experience as a producer and director.

Michael has worked on more than 200 television adverts and has founded his own production company, through which he has developed and produced an array of drama projects, including short and feature films that received widespread recognition on the festival circuit.

Michael’s move into education was driven by his desire to nurture the next generation of film and TV industry professionals. Drawing on his industry experience, he is dedicated to inspiring students to fulfil their creative potential, and to prepare them for life in the industry. Michael says:
