Dr Nagham Naddour started her career in the advertising industry before moving on to reality and interactive TV programmes. She produced local and regional content for Middle Eastern production houses and TV stations.
She relocated to the UK to conduct a practice-led doctorate where she developed a framework to counter extremists’ worldview in the cultural sphere. Furthermore, her model for practitioners aims to support their decision-making in creating content that can highlight diversity in their local communities and promote an inclusive national identity. Focused primarily on cinema and media from the Middle East, her research and scholarship aimed to highlight the diversity and cultural richness of the region.
