As the world now begins to return to normal, there’s never been a better time to get into the TV and Film Industry. If you’re serious about film, then you’ll love us.

With the clocks going forward for British Summer Time, and the UK on its way out of lockdown, things are looking up for students across the country. Groups of six are now permitted to meet outside, outdoor sport facilities have reopened, and the ‘stay at home’ order has officially been lifted just in time for one of the hottest March weeks on record, giving us all a well-needed dose of socialising in the sun ahead of the long Easter weekend.

There are now only two weeks to go until we’re able to welcome visitors back to our Brighton campus for our Personal Tours. Available from the 12th April, these personal tours of our college will help familiarise you with our industry-leading facilities and the study environment. You’ll be hosted by our local team of advisors who will be on hand to discuss all aspects of student life at Screen and Film School, from the application process through to course content and industry engagement during your studies.

For those further afield, we’re still running a brilliant variety of virtual events every week. Got a question for one of our College Principals? Hannah Stevenson (Birmingham), Itziar Leighton (Brighton), and David Thompson (Manchester) are all on hand once a week for our 1-2-1 Meet The Principal Virtual Drop-In Sessions where you can hear how studying a course with us will help set you on a path to a successful career in the UK TV and Film industry, or ask any questions you might have.

If a student’s perspective is what you’re after, look no further than our Student Mentor Virtual Drop-In Sessions. Hosted by Screen and Film School Brighton Graduates and Student Mentors, René Lorraine and Tom Zini, these sessions are the perfect place to ask about all things Screen and Film School and gain a new perspective from someone who has been in the same position as you! Whether you’re curious about our modules, equipment, the student experience, or anything else that comes to mind, our Student Mentors will be there to assist.

Looking for some support or advice on your application or portfolio preparation, or  just want to find out more and ask some questions? Our friendly admissions team are available every Tuesday and Thursday to support you with our Admissions Support Virtual Drop-In Sessions.

Finally, we can’t wait to kick off our Easter Series– a week-long series of interactive virtual workshops during the Easter break from 12th – 17th April, hosted by our Brighton, Manchester, and Birmingham Colleges. From learning how to write a hit script, to taking part in a live editing session, and directing a scene with professional actors, there’s something for everyone, and you’re invited to attend as many workshops as you like!

With our first in-person Open Days of 2021 arriving in May, we’re counting down the days until we welcome you back to Screen and Film School, we can’t wait for you to see what we have in store!

Lights, Camera, Action! The world is on it’s way back- and so are we.
